im pretty interested in it.whens it supposed to drop?
i was actually talking to my friend about spore earlier today.it looks awesome.i normally shy away from new comp games but im getting my ram upgraded so ill probably be good for this game.
Actually, because the whole game is procedural, RAM shouldn't be much of an issue.
Better to upgrade your GPU.
Supposedly it's coming out for PC in "early 2007" (whatever that means) last I heard

(I've been waiting since E3 2005)
haha Dude im waiting for it. And Koolio also. I've posted some pics on some other video game topic. But since the search function is dead... yea lol
I think SPORE is really crazy. I saw the 30 min conference and saw Robin Williams playing with it a lil which was quite hilarious

. Speaking of requirements. Im waiting for a video card that supports DirectX 10. Right now I have Nvidia 6600 512MB Ram. Its not great but good or okay I guess. As for memory ram, should be no problem I can just add another 1 gig ram to make 2 gig ram in total lol.

yea, well im not adding ram just for spore.im thinking about gaming professionally and im gonna need a fast set-up.i have like 256 ram now lol.ill probably upgrade to like 512 or 700.its pretty hard to play games on my current settings.i had to quit WOW cause it was running to slow.quitting wow was probably a good thing tho,it was really costly plus its nerdy lol

i also have a job so i can deffinitly afford it...btw did anyone play the new starfox yet?

yea the standard for memory ram right now is 1 gig. If you cant get 2 gig yet just get 1 gig.
You should get a decent video card also around $200-250 plus... and I hope you got a mother board that supports that kind of video card..
And I hope you know what Im talking about lmao. If not, dont mind me then lol

and yeah the save system in dead rising sucks.you can only have one save per gamer-tag and theres save points which get annoying if your in a hurry and you dont have alot of time to save.

“The Xbox 360 is more of an Xbox 1.5 than a next generation console.”
Well Ken, the truth is that by the time you launch the PlayStation 3.5 in Europe, both AMD and Intel will be offering quad-core processors and some motherboards will support two of those processors, allowing people to have 8 cores inside their computers. Plus, both ATI and nVIDIA will be offering DirectX 10-class GPU early next year, meaning you will be the only one with an older shader architecture instead of the new unified model implemented in both Windows Vista and the Xbox 360.
Ken, now that I think about it again, you might want to rename your next-generation console as PlayStation 2.5.

as an xbox player i must say that im disappointed by the ps3 delay - im looking forward to seeing what this console is capable of - this was a tough review but i believe an honest one - sony is screwing up big time here - my fav part of article is this....
This is what happens when you open your big mouth and talk trash about the competition. If you fail, everyone will laugh at you. This is definitely not a good start for the PlayStation 3 and if things don’t change, the PS2 successor is destined to fail. The console is expensive, delayed and will be outdated by the time it launches. Other than the Blu-ray Disc capabilities, the PlayStation 3 won’t bring anything new in terms of interactive entertainment.
Just pray Halo 3 doesn’t come up next March or green will be a color all Sony executives will forever dream with
i agree with the last part of the article - if microsoft can get halo-3 delivered at the same time the ps3 comes out then sony is in big trouble

To me, every consoles fails equally. And its about time Sony fails because they have been killing every console since Playstation 1 came out.
I think Sony should just stay off this year and let other consoles have a chance. Especially Nintendo Wii.
Other than that, I got my sexy PC ready for next gen. I can wait for PS3 any day.

It won't just take Halo 3. Don't forget Gears of War, which they ARE realeasing in time with Sony. This was ready months ago, they are using it the way you are thinking. This was rated best game at E3, so I'm sure it will have some of the power that Halo 3 will have. Some, but not all.

Ya but it also means that they are facing a shortage. One that will affect North America in the end because the ones going around the world have to come from somewhere. If there is a shortage for getting the games there, the same problems will occur here after launch. If your looking at getting one then pre-order, or wait the shortage out.

I've checked games that are planned to be released on the Wii, and it's not on the list. I've also seen on the Ea Sports website the systems that it's comming out for, didn't see the Wii.
I think I'm going to still get one for Christmas...it was between that and an Ipod video, and I'll think I'll just use some money I get along with some of my own to pick one up.

microsoft pays for everything - even shipping costs and phone calls -
pretty sure that any time under 1 year they take care of everything
if i had gotten additional coverage ( at store ) when i bought then i simply would have taken it back to store and they would have replaced for free as well - but i wasnt that smart

thats encouraging, the main reason i bought my 360 was i had like 4 ps2s break last gen and i just got fed up with sonys bull.it seriously took like 4 months for them to replace mine everytime and the controllers were very fragile too,i was buying a new controller every month lol.im not going to lie though, half of them broke by me hurling them into the wall when i lost a game of live/madden or i got killed on socom.

Yep. I have it on my computer right now. Definitely way better Fifa. The good thing about the computer version is that you can download patches that fix the team names. Like East London Hammers is corrected to West Ham Utd and Red Devils or whatever its called in the game is corrected to Manchester Utd.
