had a chance to play tom clancy's "splinter cell double agent " last night before work - very impressive -
had to go over it quickly before i left for work but i have to say the multiplayer was excellent
i had been waiting for this one to come out for quite some time now - pleased to say i was'nt disappointed - heres a review for anyone who's interested....

Shadow that game looks terrific, I've been waiting for this one too, and and defenitly picking it up for the PC, I just hope that my video card (which is quite good) can do the terrific graphics justice.

i got SP:DA the other day.only got a chance to play the training and the very first mission though lol i find getting time to play pretty hard.my brothers almost always on it.

although its hard to form and opinion as of how little ive played so far,i was pretty darn impressed.

Does anyone here have NBA Live for the PC? If you do I'll have a game with you online..

Top 10 Scariest Video Games

Silent Hill is number 1. Sadly, if some people play today, they will not appreciate the game so much because of the graphics (people can't appreciate anythin these days so dam picky lmao ). Too bad for
them I played this game at the right time. Maybe it was during 1999 or 2000, the game was released in 1998. This game is probably one of the best scariest games I've ever played in my whole life.

So if your still ok with old school games and looking for scary games, I would recommend you Silent Hill. This game scares you mentally and psychologically. I've played Resident Evil and Silent Hill is more of a survival horror game than RE because the weapons are more of just pipes and knives. As for guns there are only 2-3.

#8 (Eternal Darkness) is one of my favourite all-time games!

Doom3 still freaks me out sometimes when I have my headphones on...

All of the RE clips were from the Nintendo remake of RE1 (whaich was absolutely gorgeous)

Doom 3 is intense. They did a great job and an amazing come back. I feel already hopeless as soon as the game starts lmao.

These monsters respawns and pop out like crazy.

Oh yea silent hill definitely scared the fecies out of me. I used to play it at night with the lights out and the volume cranked. Running throught the fog you never know what you'd run into.

doom3 - one of my all time favourites
silent hill - a very deserving #1 - ive never played it myself but the better half says its an incredible game
fatal frame 2 was also an excellent game - great concept with the camera - very creepy effects

had the chance to play F.E.A.R. last night
this is an excellent game - creepy effects and the AI opponents are incredibly smart - the weapons are outstanding while in the game's amazing firefights
i highly recommend this game - heres a review for anyone interested.......

Anyone here play NBA 2K7? Its a great game you should go get it. Its the best rated basketball game since 2K5 and beyond better than NBA Lives.

had the absolute pleasure of playing Gears Of War tonite after the basketball game - make no mistake.....this is a STUNNING game !! - the next generation games are here to stay - i would give this masterpiece a 10
the graphics on this game are truly incredible !! - the sound is awesome and you'll just have to trust me when i say that the gameplay itself is highly addictive
imho this is the best game ( by far ) that has come out for the 360
the feature that i love the most is the co-op mode - the girlfriend and i kicked some serious butt tonite - we had a blast playing it
the online play is brilliant as well
i cannot recommend this game enough - you'll be blown away

That game is crazy. No question about it. I'll be waiting for the PC version They'll have it one day trust me .

But for now I'll be playing it on 360 with ma friends.

i got this and call of duty 3 the other day.havent got a chance to play COD3 yet but GofW is freaking amazing.this is one of the best experiences ive had in a video game for awhile!

im still deciding wheater i should get a WII or a PS3 to go along with my 360.

Sony has Metal Gear Solid,Grand Turismo,Final Fantasy and God of War...but it will also cost me roughly 800(im including Tax and stuff)..i also heardyou wont be able to rent games beacuase of blue ray.

Nintendo has Zelda,Mario Party,Mario Galaxy and super smash brother brawl and only costs like 280(without tax)..but i just dont know if this Wii controller is a Gimic or not.

OR i could just get neither and buy more 360 games..Mass Effect,Lost Planet,Vegas,Bio Shock,Alan Wake etc

Im so torn aswell. I have to save up my lunch money and not eat until boxing day for that big blowout sale.

Last year i got the xbox and i really liked it. The xbox 360 looks to have the weakest fanbase so far. The thing im most looking forward to is halo3. The only problem is that i dont have one of those flat screen tv's so the graphics wont be at its maximum potential. Same with the ps3. (even though they'll still look good, il feel like i wasted some money.

The wii is the most intruiging to me. My cousins say no, but im gona have to wait till it comes out. The wii, is either gona be huge and everyone is going to love it or its going to be a bust. THe motion snesor is amazing. The grapphics dont mean that much to me, but they at least have to be decent.

WOW, this really helped wii move up a notch in my book. You can create your own characters [SAMUEL LOL] and play them in games. Then you can transfere them to the controller and use them on other peoples wii's. So the controller acts like a memory chip and bring it to other peoples houses. And the interface is great. AND theres a built in SD slot for pictures, videos and what not. The only thing was that the cursor on the screen was a little shaky, hard to control maybe ?

I think it was because it was during a conference
and he was probably standing very far away from the screen,
and probably gesturing as he talks

a slight movement on a big screen would transfer to a huge movement on a tiny video such as youtube.

I did notice that he had no problem typing the name out even with the shaking.

did you notice that if he rotated the wiimote the pointer rotated too?

This makes me wonder how they will treat their customers if (and when) they have problems with the new console coming out. They basically sued a company until it went out of business simply for that reason, so that they could hold more closely to the region encoding of the PS3's. Here's something I learned that I didn't know, and also probably will never use:

had a chance to play Call Of Duty 3 tonite before i came into work
seems the 360 has finally hit its stride.....third game in a row that ive played where the 360 can truly be called a next gen system
COD3 has insane game play - incredibly intense - actually had to put it down a couple of times to get my bearings
the online maps are extrordinary....sound and graphics are impecable
highly recommend this one as well

with free time on my hands I've been getting more into pc games lately. Specifically, a borrowed copy of half life 2. I haven't played a fps in the loooongest time (like years) which is surprising since the first pc game I ever really got into hardcore was Quake back in the day (yea i kno, I started late...but I was brown and poor so what ya gonna do )

Just gotta say, that when they say the half life 2 is one of the best games ever made... they aren't lying. After so long without playing a pc shooter, I gotta say that it only took me a few minutes to become immersed in this game

the girlfriend was getting a little irritated with all the "blood and guts" games that ive been bringing home lately so she decided to go out and rent something completely different -
she brought home Viva Pinata - a game centered around an imaginary garden where you had to build from scratch - the idea is to attract different Pinata's ( insects , birds , animals ) to the garden - the more you can attract ... the higher the level - kind of a different version of the "sims"
when she started playing i laughed and asked why she would waste her time and money on something so childish - she simply handed the controller to me and said try it...
well 3 hrs later i was pissed that i had to put it down and go to work
this is a highly addictive game to say the least - dont let the nature of the game fool you - its very complex but at the same time enjoyable
just make sure you have lots of free time before you begin...cause you wont be able to put it down

So after the Christmas Festivities yesterday, I spent much of last night playing a new game that my friend got for his playstation. "Guitar Hero".
How many of you people have played this? It's seriously awesome. Basically it's a Dance Dance revolution concept, except you are using a guitar instead.
I never heard of the game before, but after looking on the internet, aparently it's pretty popular.
